The first one, 1876.
How do we read it? Eighteen seventy-six, is it right? Yes, it is right. So,what is the regular of reading these numbers?
Yes, we can read the year as two parts. When we read them, we can read the first two numbers, then read the second two numbers. So take the year“1876” as an example again, we can start with “18”, then read “76”. Are you clear?Ok, very good. Now let do some practice.
How to read 1885? Eighteen eighty-five?
